B. J. Tunnell is an MFA Candidate in Creative Writing, Editing, and Publishing at Sam Houston State University. She currently works as an Editorial Fellow for TRP: The University Press at Sam Houston State University.

 

B. J. has been married for 34 years and has two amazing children, a lovely daughter in law, and a gorgeous grandbaby! 

 

She has worked in corporate America for the likes of Meryl Lynch, GM, and Compaq then someone made the mistake of telling her she would be a good teacher. She got her degree at 32 years old, taught high school World History and German language.
